Mitchell Precision workholding services offers a 48 month warranty on all chuck repair projects. That's right! We'll guarantee your (air, hydraulic or manual) chuck will perform like new for 4 years! Our competition is NOT providing the same service. Replacing a seal or or performing a flash plate (.0002 to .0005) isn't the same service that Mitchell Industrial offers. Our turn around time may be slightly longer then our competition, but you're getting a lot more for your money.

The usual problem is corrosion, pitting, galling or lack of lubrication. With a grind, hard chrome plate and grind of all the sealing surfaces (back to OEM specifications & tolerances) your chuck will work like new. How can we offer a 48 month guarantee? Industrial hard chrome when applied on a precision ground surface will resist pitting, corrosion, galling and wear even when there is a lack of lubrication. Master jaws & wedge are repaired or replaced. You're basically getting back a brand new chuck.

Hydraulic Chuck Repair with a 48 month guarantee!

• 1: Complete disassembly, cleaning & visual inspection to locate cause of failure
• 2: Precision measurement of all components, all sizes are recorded and compared to O.E.M. specs & tolerances
• 3: The cylinder bore is precision ground, hard chrome plated and ground while holding a tolerance of .0001
• 4: Blanchard grind the face of the chuck parallel holding a tolerance of .0001
• 5: Repair or replace wedge as needed
• 6: Hard chrome plate master jaw with a minimal thickness of .005
• 7: Replace center sleeve
• 8: After assembly we perform a complete inspection and testing. All tolerances are held within O.E.M guidelines
• 9: Crating & shipping to your facility in 5 to 7 days.

Air Chuck Repair with a 24 month guarantee!

• 1: Complete disassembly, cleaning & visual inspection to locate cause of failure
• 2: Precision measurement of all components, all sizes are recorded and compared to O.E.M. specs & tolerances
• 3: Blanchard grind the face of the chuck parallel holding a tolerance of .0001
• 4: Precision grind, hard chrome plate & grind wedge (or replace)
• 5: Precision grind, hard chrome plate & grind center sleeve (or replace)
• 6: Precision grind, hard chrome plate & grind piston (or replace)
• 7: Hard chrome plate master jaw with a minimal thickness of .005
• 8: Return safety valve is either repaired or replaced (all seals are new)
• 9: All internal & external seals are replaced
• 10: Reassemble and reseal, perform a complete inspection & testing. All tolerances are held within O.E.M. guidelines
• 11: Crating & shipping to your facility in 5 to 7 days.

Manual Chuck Repair with a 48 month guarantee!

• 1: Complete disassembly, cleaning & visual inspection to locate cause of failure
• 2: Precision measurement of all components, all sizes are recorded and compared to O.E.M. specs & tolerances
• 3: Blanchard grind the face of the chuck parallel holding a tolerance of .0001
• 4: All screws are either repaired or replaced (depending on level of wear)
• 5: Thrust bearings are either repaired or replaced (depending on level of wear)
• 6: Scroll is repaired or replaced (depending on level of wear)
• 7: Pinion is repaired or replaced (depending on level of wear)
• 8: Pinion retainer is repaired or replaced (depending on level of wear)
• 9: Machine ways on body
• 10: Chrome plate master jaws (minimum of .005) to fitbody
• 11: After assembly we perform a complete inspection and testing. All tolerances are held within O.E.M guidelines
• 12: Crating & shipping to your facility in 3 to 5 days.
